Kande Ela Reservoir
Kande Ela Reservoir, also known as Meepilimana Reservoir, is a tranquil,
high-altitude water body located about 12 km from Nuwara Eliya on the way to
Pattipola/Horton Plains. Built in 1949–1950, it provides water for the area,
offers scenic, mist-covered views, and features boating and the nearby Kande Ela
Educational Forest Reserve.
